Join Landscape Architect Dan Sundberg and others for a fun afternoon exploration of examples of and hands-on experience with "How to Build a Natural Playground." Looking at ways to create natural play spaces using everyday materials like logs, rocks, sand, trees, stones, wood, and poles, learn simple ways to help set up natural play areas that encourage imagination and creativity. Also learn about simple patterns that children find enjoyable such as hidden or secluded spaces, climbing or jumping options, swinging, hanging, twirling, skills games, materials that can be used for making structures (teepees, hideouts, houses, etc.), and so much more.
