Fencing Basics - The Basics of Installing any type of fencing

While the materials may vary, the basics of installing any type of fence remain the same. Fencing can serve many purposes from being a decorative accent, to providing a support for climbing plants, to marking a boundary, to providing an enclosure to keep something in, to providing a barrier to keep something out, to creating separated space within a larger space, to allowing for privacy or to delineate private space from more public space. Learn the basics of fence building that are the same for all kinds of fencing (support posts, fencing materials between posts, connectors, bracing corners, etc. Also learn ways to install fencing to keep fence lines straight and accurate, simple tools to assist with fence building, and so much more. Led by Harvey Harman, who is a farmer/builder who has built and maintained many different types of fencing.
