Forest Bathing

Forest bathing, known in Japan as shinrin-yoku, is a slow, guided walk in the woods focused on presence, not distance. We’ll move gently through the land, pausing to notice what’s around us through sight, sound, touch, and smell. There’s no hiking pace, no phones, and no pressure to talk. Just time to breathe, listen, and reconnect with the more-than-human world.
The practice of shinrin-yoku grew out of research and cultural traditions that recognize how time in forests can support our well-being — physically, mentally, and emotionally. You’ll leave with simple ways to bring this kind of mindful time outdoors into your everyday life, whether in the woods, your yard, or a nearby park.
No experience required. Come as you are. Comfortable shoes recommended.

Youth, under 18, may attend free with an adult (1 youth per adult)
Early-bird pricing ($55) is available through Aug 1. After that, the cost is $75.
